This third volume in the series focuses on Professor Hamilton Winograd, whom we met back in the first book.  A professor of Geology at Waldren College, this elephant has an attractive wife, a suburban home, and a car.  He should be happy, but not all is perfect in Hamilton’s world.  Trapped in a tumultuous marriage, professor becomes student as he learns something new about himself from a young coyote named Tracy Becker, then something more from businessmouse John Eisenberg.

Soot Ashby joins the Long Division project with a fantastic cover illustration.  On the inside, readers will find seven bonus stories, including three featuring original LD characters, Roy & Tracy.  Syntech has left the team, but previous cover artist, Valerie Gershman, says farewell with one final illustration that served as inspiration for a new bonus chapter.
